Thyssen
Bornemisza Museum
Collection initiated towards 1920 by the father of the
actual Baron Thyssen, who extend it throughout his life
until turning it in one of the greater painting private
collections of the world. In October of 1992, the museum
was inaugurated after an agreement made between Baron
Thyssen and the Spanish state. Among the remarkable art
works are paintings of Raphael, Durero, Tiziano, Tintoretto,
Ribera, Picasso, Miró and Pollock, among others,
in addition to impressionists and expressionists works.
